Here is our guide to the second level of the campaign mode of Modern Warfare 2. Grab yourself a decent spot with good cover that you can crouch behind, take out any soldiers across the river that you can and then fire off a few rounds with your grenade launcher, if your taking too many hits just drop to the floor or get fully behind your cover until your health regenerates. Listen out for the shout that there are enemies at the end of the bridge to the left of the screen and then take them out either with your rifle or, for extra carnage, your grenade launcher. When you have killed this group of soldiers, follow your squad up the stairs and then hop into the Humvee indicated.
An air strike is called in on the tall building to the right, watch that fall and get ready for a rough ride through some tight streets. As your Humvee moves into the city, keep an eye out for enemy targets and take out any that come out, the further you get, the more intense their firing becomes so you need to be on your toes. Take out any enemies with RPG’s or those on the rooftops first as they are your biggest threat. On the harder difficulties, you may find yourself being killed quite a few times, we would suggest to keep yourself facing forward as much as possible because if you start turning to take out targets you will end up ignoring the greater danger in front of you.
When your vehicle gets flipped over, get inside the building to the right asap. Once inside move to the stairs, there should be one enemy who starts to come down, kill him and then slowly make your way upstairs and eliminate the remaining targets up there. Make your way through the rooms until you are at a window where you can see the school you drove past earlier (with the RPG’s on the roof), your squad will start to move towards the school, follow them over, taking out any enemies in the schoolyard area.
Inside the school, pop off with your grenade launcher down the hallway, clear any remaining enemies in the hall with your rifle and also take out the couple in the classroom before moving upstairs. Kill the two guards at the end of the hall and move on, round the corner are more guards, take them out and then watch out as there will be a few that come rushing into the room. Keep moving on and clear out another hallway, once done, make your way back to the streets with the rest of your squad (follow the white objective marker if ever in doubt). Follow your squad down the alley and watch out again as more soldiers will come rushing out, take them all down and push on, be careful as you approach an open building on the left as there is another soldier waiting in there. Kill him and then move through the building, throw a flash bang down the alley to the left and eliminate the two soldiers down there, now just follow the white marker until you reach General Shepherd and finish the mission. We hope you find this Modern Warfare 2 guide helpful while playing the single player mode.
